Prayer is extremely important to us at Doxology Bible Church. The Bible says, "Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart." (Col 4:2). For this reason, we have several different ways to get involved in the prayer ministry at Doxology. We would also love to be able to pray for you. The blue prayer request cards are designed for longer term/ongoing needs. Our Prayer Room volunteers pray for these requests multiple times a week for an extended period of
time. Fill one out and place it in the secure box next to the sign in the auditorium entryway.
Each week you can turn in a prayer request through the CONNECTION CARD in your worship
guide during the offering. Our leadership counts it a privilege to be able to pray for these each week. In addition, every Sunday after each service, some of our elders and their wives are available in the front of the auditorium (near the stage) to pray for people in person. Just come forward after the worship service. They would love to encourage you today.
If you'd like to join us by interceding for these requests, you can sign up to receive a weekly prayer
text (1-2 texts per week). Simply text "doxologyprayer" (no space) to 33222 and you'll begin
receiving these requests.
The prayer chain is a group of people committed to pray for urgent needs as they are shared by telephone or email.Participants should have an attitude of availability as requests are
shared on an "as needed" basis. All requests are confidential.
This ministry is for people willing to devote one hour per week praying alone in our Prayer Room. Individual prayer requests from the congregation are prayed for, as well as, the church
leadership, missionaries and Doxology-supported community ministries. Participants also pray for national, state and local governments.
There are various opportunities to pray before and during the service and throughout the year
for special events. If you would like to sign up for prayer ministry or have questions, please
email firstname.lastname@example.org or call the church office at (817) 921-5200.
