Eikon is a community of young adults being transformed by Christ to be a catalyst for changing lives. We do this by meeting regularly in community groups, bible classes, fellowship events and service opportunities. If you are single and in your 30’s- early 40’s and looking for a place to belong, we would love to have you join us!You can stop by the Next Steps area in the lobby on a Sunday morning and they can point you in the right direction.

We were made to belong. We each have a longing and void that can only be filled when we experience community. In the New Testament we see the followers of Jesus living in close fellowship, generously sharing what they had, and eagerly serving one another. It was a beautiful picture of the community that God has designed for us to experience. If we are honest, it can be a challenge to find that type of community. Isolation is too often the norm for those who are single working professionals. We envision a day when our ministry would provide that type of community to singles throughout SW Fort Worth so that they each can experience fellowship with a group who loves God, loves each other, and loves their city.

Events:

- Monthly Crowded House Fellowship - Eikon gathers once a month as a large group to focus on growing our relationship with Christ as well as each other. This year we are sharing “our stories” within the group to tell how Jesus has, and continues to work in the life of each individual of Eikon.

- Kitchen Gardens, May 11- A volunteer opportunity to serve at the Ridglea Giving Garden, which is part of the Tarrant Area Food Bank. This involves tasks like weeding, watering, planting, and harvesting.

- Ranch Weekend, May 23-26- A weekend in Quanah, TX to relax, play games, hunt, and have fun together. Always lots of laughs out at the ranch.

- Memorial Day BBQ, May 27- Hang out with Eikon for some BBQ, time by the pool, games, and fellowship.

- Lantern Festival, June 8- Join Eikon at the Fort Worth Water Lantern Festival! There will be lanterns, food trucks, time for fellowship and more.

- Puttshack, June 22- Puttshack is an upscale mini golf experience. Join us as play a few rounds on this fun course.

- 4^th of July Cookout, July 4- Celebrate Independence Day with Eikon with a cookout, games, a fire pit and fireworks!

- Bolder Adventure Park, July 13- Join Eikon at this indoor adventure park for ropes courses, bumper cars, archery, and various other fun activities.

- Dallas Aquarium, August 10- Take a break from the heat at the Dallas Aquarium with Eikon.

- Laser Tag, August 23- Join Eikon for dinner and a few games of laser tag.
