Update

It's hard to believe it's been nearly two full years since we first came to you with a vision for our church (and from our church) called Fort Worth | For Good: A multiplying model of church where different congregations with unique expressions of the same DNA serve as hubs to develop and deploy Christ-centered neighbors toward every neighborhood in our city. And a great big investment in a local school that's just a short walk from Doxology Southwest where some kids (for a variety of reasons) need a little extra support to thrive and flourish. That feels like just yesterday. Until you begin to look at what's happened since that time. Baptism is an external celebration of a change that has happened in you. When you connect with Christ, you have a new identity in Christ and you are forgiven from sin and its eternal results. The image of baptism connects you with the death and resurrection of Christ, and the water represents the “washing away” of your sins as you trusted Christ. In baptism, you have the opportunity to publicly express your commitment to Christ and share with others the change that He has brought about in your life. Ready to take that step? We were made to belong. We each have a longing and void that can only be filled when we experience community. In the New Testament we see the followers of Jesus living in close fellowship, generously sharing what they had, and eagerly serving one another. It was a beautiful picture of the community that God has designed for us to experience. We dream of a church where everyone can experience that kind of belonging, support and spiritual growth in community groups. We envision a time when there is a Community Group in every neighborhood in Fort Worth, so that every person in our city would live within walking distance of a group of people who love God, love each other, and love their neighbors. So whether you are interested in joining a group, or would be willing to host a group we would love to connect and help you find that place to belong here at Doxology.

Pray:Doxology is a Mid-Week/Mid-Day prayer opportunity for our congregation in 2024. The heart behind Pray:Doxology is to provide an environment that is devoted to prayer, while being a good environment for a person to develop in prayer, as we contend for spiritual movement in our own hearts, awakening in our city, and revival in our world.

Financial Peace University is a nine-lesson course that teaches you how to save for emergencies, pay off debt fast, spend wisely, and invest for your future. Establish a new path forward for you and your checkbook! Classes will meet on Sundays at 10:30am. The class is $50 and payments can be made online by credit card during registration or by check at first class. Participants may bring one individual from their household for no additional charge.

The Parent Dedication service is also a time for your church family to commit to partnering with you. Parents! Is your child asking you more questions about following Jesus? Or eagerly expressing interest in being baptized? This is the class for you and your child! Come join us for donuts, Sunday April 14 during the 10:30 a.m. service. We will talk through salvation, baptism, and what it looks like to share their faith with others. 💥 Explosion is our biggest kid's ministry event of the year!💥 All kids entering Kindergarten-5th grade are invited to our biggest event of the year! Explosion is a VBS experience packed with worship, games, and learning a whole lot about Jesus. Kids who attend will have the opportunity to grow deeper in their faith and learn more about the Gospel.

At Hero Central, our desire is to launch the next generation of spiritual heroes. We do this in a variety of ways each week so that all children, regardless of their age, learning style, or background leave knowing that God created them, loves them, and wants to be their forever friend. Kids have the opportunity to engage in worship, study God’s Word and ask questions in small groups, allowing them to fully grasp Biblical concepts through intentional games and activities. At Hero Central, relationships are built that last a lifetime. The partnership of leaders investing in our children and families investing in each other makes the body of Christ powerful. It takes the whole community of faith working together to successfully pass these truths on to the next generation!

If you could only come to one thing a week, The Bridge is THE place to be for middle school and high school students, grades 6th-12th. The Bridge is a night packed full of exciting games, intentional worship, relevant Bible teaching, and time together in small groups. Our small groups are divided up by grade and gender, and we have incredible adult leaders shepherding those groups! This year our students (completed 6th - completed 12th) will be heading out to the SERVE Mission Camp put on by Generate in Siloam Springs, Arkansas at John Brown University. Our students will be serving the local community through mission projects and evangelism. Each day will include fun free time activities and events, as well as start and end with worship, teaching, and discussion with our group and fellow campers. Departure times are still TBD. Housing and food will be provided in the dorms of the JBU for the whole camp. The trip will be supervised by Doxology Youth staff, and select Youth Ministry volunteers. Cost - A $100 Deposit Locks In Your Rate, Balance Due In June! Super Early Bird Rate - $425 through November 15th Early Bird Rate - $450 through January 1st Regular Rate - $495 Until All Spots are Filled The cost includes everything for the week except for 1 meal on the way and any snacks or items students would like to purchase while at camp.

Come and be a part of our BIGGEST youth event of the year! STAMPEDE is going to be incredible this year with Over-the-top games, worship, snacks, teaching, and time with old and new friends! We are excited for this week to be filled with a HOLY ROAR that will echo into the new school year, in halls and classrooms throughout the city!! Doors open nightly at 6:00pm for registration and check-in. The evening ends at 9:30pm. Become a reading mentor through our Hero2Hero program. By spending an hour a week with a students, you can make a difference in their life by helping them increase their reading skills AND demonstrating Jesus' love. Through our partnership with South Hills Elementary School, Doxology has been able to connect its people with elementary school students in supportive, mentoring relationships. Through these mentoring relationships we have seen God make an incredible impact in the lives of both the kids, and the life of the school.

Come join us for a week of serving others while getting to show the love of Christ to local families in the area! We will build stoves, build houses, and set up medical clinics, all in hopes to spread the Good News. Students will be able to develop community and make lifelong friends, while growing in their faith by engaging with different cultures.

In recent years, Japan has been described as a “missionary graveyard” but we do not accept this. God is moving in Japan and the gospel is spreading. On this trip, we will have the opportunity to serve a local church plant by running a VBS and providing a good ole Texas BBQ outreach.

During this trip there will be a combination of a sports/golf camp and helping with STEM/english classes in order to help our partner gain credibility with the village where 99% still partake in animistic rituals and is a mix of different religions. This will be a small team of about 8 of people that are 18 or older. People of all skill sets are welcome, but golfers and education specialties are a specific need for this trip.
