Saddle up for the wildest week of the summer!
Out on the frontier, things can get dark fast. In a land full of outlaws, dust storms, and danger, it can be hard to know who to trust. And just like the Wild West, our world today can feel pretty wild too.
At VBS, kids will discover that no matter how dark or crazy life gets, God’s light still shines bright. While many people think they know about Jesus, not everyone truly knows who He is.
This week, we’ll hit the trail to uncover the truth: Jesus is exactly who He says He is — and His light can break through even the wildest darkness.
FAQ:
Is this like VBS?
Yes! Explosion is a VBS style event, just turned up a notch (or two)!
What age is this for?
Explosion is for anyone completed Kinder thru 5th grade in the Fall of 2024.
What will my kids be doing?
Kids will start in our Auditorium for a time of engaging worship and stage drama. Then, they will go in rotations around the church that includes a recreational time, Bible lesson story time, craft and more!
Do parents attend with their kids?
No, parents will drop off and pickup their kids in our Auditorium each day. Each kid will get grouped into a small team in the same grade and gender and each team will have an adult leader and a co-leader. However, we would love for parents to volunteer with us during this week! Use the "Volunteer Registration" link above to volunteer for Explosion!

April 2nd & 3rd
3:00 pm
Join us April 2 from 3:00PM - 9:00PM and April 3 from 8:00AM - 9:00PM for Journey to the Cross. Journey to the Cross is a hands-on, self guided, walkthrough experience that tells the story of Good Friday. At the very basic level, it's setup a lot like a museum exhibit - but anyone who's attended would tell you that it's so much more than that.

Baptism is an external celebration of a change that has happened in you. When you connect with Christ, you have a new identity in Christ and you are forgiven from sin and its eternal results. The image of baptism connects you with the death and resurrection of Christ, and the water represents the “washing away” of your sins as you trusted Christ. In baptism, you have the opportunity to publicly express your commitment to Christ and share with others the change that He has brought about in your life. Ready to take that step? Use the Connection Card link and check "I want to get baptized."
