We were made to belong. We each have a longing and void that can only be filled when we experience community. In the New Testament we see the followers of Jesus living in close fellowship, generously sharing what they had, and eagerly serving one another. It was a beautiful picture of the community that God has designed for us to experience. We dream of a church where everyone can experience that kind of belonging, support and spiritual growth in community groups. We envision a time when there is a Community Group in every neighborhood in Fort Worth, so that every person in our city would live within walking distance of a group of people who love God, love each other, and love their neighbors. So whether you are interested in joining a group, or would be willing to host a group we would love to connect and help you find that place to belong here at Doxology.

Baptism is an external celebration of a change that has happened in you. When you connect with Christ, you have a new identity in Christ and you are forgiven from sin and its eternal results. The image of baptism connects you with the death and resurrection of Christ, and the water represents the “washing away” of your sins as you trusted Christ. In baptism, you have the opportunity to publicly express your commitment to Christ and share with others the change that He has brought about in your life. Ready to take that step? Pray:Doxology is a Mid-Week/Mid-Day prayer opportunity for our congregation in 2025. The heart behind Pray:Doxology is to provide an environment that is devoted to prayer, while being a good environment for a person to develop in prayer, as we contend for spiritual movement in our own hearts, awakening in our city, and revival in our world.

At Hero Central, our desire is to launch the next generation of spiritual heroes. We do this in a variety of ways each week so that all children, regardless of their age, learning style, or background leave knowing that God created them, loves them, and wants to be their forever friend. Kids have the opportunity to engage in worship, study God’s Word and ask questions in small groups, allowing them to fully grasp Biblical concepts through intentional games and activities. At Hero Central, relationships are built that last a lifetime. The partnership of leaders investing in our children and families investing in each other makes the body of Christ powerful. It takes the whole community of faith working together to successfully pass these truths on to the next generation!

If you could only come to one thing a week, The Bridge is THE place to be for middle school and high school students, grades 6th-12th. The Bridge is a night packed full of exciting games, intentional worship, relevant Bible teaching, and time together in small groups. Our small groups are divided up by grade and gender, and we have incredible adult leaders shepherding those groups! This summer, our completed 7th and 8th graders will head to Houston to serve with Global Gates, a ministry reaching unreached immigrant communities with the hope of the gospel. Houston is one of the most diverse cities in the U.S., giving students the chance to meet people from cultures around the world—without ever leaving Texas.

Want to reach the nations without leaving the United States? Join our youth mission trip to New York this summer. We will be partnering with Servant Life to share the Gospel with refugees and asylum seekers, many of whom have never heard the good news of Jesus before. Come along with us to reach the nations in our own backyard!

This summer our upperclassmen will be traveling to Tirana, Albania to partner with Cru in launching a new youth ministry. Students will invite local teens to a summer camp, serve alongside Cru staff, and build meaningful relationships, showing Jesus’ love in practical ways.

Come join us for a week of serving others and showing the love of Christ to Guatemalan families. We will build stoves, houses, and set up medical clinics, all in hopes to spread the Good News. Our long-term goal is to help our partner establish 49 new churches in his community.

Summer Project is an 7-week opportunity for students to experience how God is working among the nations! They will work with local partners by going to college campuses & building relationships with students leading to sharing the Gospel. Students will also be able to develop community and make lifelong friends, while growing in their faith by engaging with different cultures throughout the summer.

Join us in Guatemala for a 7-day trip this summer as we partner with a Guatemalan church to reach the surrounding villages that have no evangelical church. We will be showing the love of God and sharing the Gospel with them as we serve these communities in practical ways.

Join us as we bring the Gospel to remote, unreached people groups through a cultural immersion experience. We will help build trust among the communities in order to facilitate spiritual conversations and transformation.

In recent years, Japan has been described as a “missionary graveyard” but we do not accept this. God is moving in Japan and the gospel is spreading. On this trip, we will have the opportunity to serve a local church plant by running a VBS and providing a good ole Texas BBQ outreach.

During this trip, we will put on a combination of sports and English classes to help our partner gain credibility with a village where 99% still partake in animistic rituals and different religions. This will be a small team of about 4-8 of people. People of all skill sets are welcome, but education specialties are a specific need for this trip.
